Chester Diocesan Learning Trust (CDLT) – Art day and logo launch
You may have thought that everything had gone quiet on the development of our second Trust CDLT but lots of work has been going on in the background and we are working towards a conversion date for the initial schools on 1st October.
Trustees, heads and governors have come together to create a vision for Trust which is:
‘Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ’
1 Corinthians 12:12
As Saint Paul teaches, ‘the body is not made up of one part but of many.’
Chester Diocesan Learning Trust recognises and nurtures the unique gifts, skills and talents within our whole community.
We will empower adults and children to grow in character and mind, shaping a better future.
We then wanted a logo for the Trust which reflected this and held an art day at the village hall in Capenhurst where children from each of the schools came together and did a piece of art work that reflected this vision, drawing out key words from the Trust. The children worked really hard and came up with some amazing art work which we will launch as our logo in the autumn term.
