Family of Schools Training Programme 2024/25

Thank you for your commitment to the Family of Schools and your continuous learning. We are pleased to share the training programme for next academic year.

Our aim is to enable every child and adult in our schools to flourish and experience the abundant life promised by Jesus, where our schools are communities that are loving in relationships, ambitious in aspirations and bold in actions.

Highlights are:

School Leaders’ Conference - Racial Justice: Empowering Change for our Schools, takes place on the 21st November at the Park Royal Hotel, Stretton.

This enlightening conference will spotlight the need for change and consideration within the work of our schools and we are thrilled to welcome our keynote speakers The Rt Revd Rose Hudson-Wilkin, the Bishop of Dover and Elizabeth Olulari, National Lead for Racial Justice at the Church of England Education Office.

The day will also be running sessions and workshops. You can book your place now.

This one year course, over 6 days during the 2024-25 academic year, provides Early Career Teachers with knowledge, experience and training in key areas of professional development.

The Welcome event for this programme is on Friday 11 October 2024.

This series of events are aimed as post-ECT support for those developing their career and moving into more responsibility.  The events can be taken as stand alone sessions or as a five-event programme that builds across the year.   

The sessions cover:

  • Sharing Practice

  • Confident subject leadership

  • Knowing more & remembering more

  • Seeing the bigger picture

  • Contributing to Christian ethos

Termly, in person network groups are hosted around three key areas:

  • Disadvantage

  • Diversity

  • SEND

You can join each network independently and there is also the option to join all networks at a discount.
